I tend to feel this way a lot of the time also. I think it’s something that happens once you really settle into something that makes you happy. For me, it makes me wonder why people waste time doing anything else. I think to myself, “Why would I go out and talk and hang out with people who are talking about sports or parties or stupid petty gossip? Why shouldn’t I spend all my time with the few people who understand and like what I like too? How do other people waste their times with anything but what they like the most?” It can be draining to do other things. Spend time with other people. It can also help you remember why you love to do the things you love. And give you a chance to try new things that you might also love and find people that love those things too. Most things probably won’t be that way, but, sometimes they can be. Stay strong, it’ll be a learning experience one way or the other.
